Who we are ...

The Ubomi Obutsha Centre is a registered, community based, Non Profit Organisation with three main objectives:

  1. Effectively instilling good values and developing balanced, capable characters in our children.

  2. Supporting the social, cognitive and academic development of children at risk.

  3. Responsibly and efficiently distributing donated goods to those in need.

. . . all grounded on a relational Christian ethos.

In isiXhosa, "Ubomi Obutsha" means "New Life".

“If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if you spend yourselves on behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday."

- Isaiah 58 vs 9-10
