  • Stichting Ubomi Obutsha Nederlands (SUON) comes alongside the Ubomi Obutsha Centre Management Committee to strategise on how to build capacity and deepen the impact of the UOC
     

  • The "Stepping Forward - Vision 2023" idea is discussed and workshopped and a plan is finalised

- 2020 - Q1 -

 

  • Significant and consistent local supporters are approached to work together on a new Ubomi Obutsha Centre Support Team
     

  • Initial meeting held with 14 supporters - Ideas and plans laid out for all to consider

- 2020 - Q2 -

 

  • Covid-19 pandemic sets in and lockdown implemented
     

  • Operationally - All group programmes are closed and the UOC goes into  "maintenance-mode" supporting high-risk families​ with basic needs
     

  • Series of meetings are held . . .
     

  • A new organisational structure is formulated and a few individuals are approached to form a new executive board/steering committee

  • A new programme structure is formulated to accommodate operational changes that are expected post lockdown and to place families (instead of activities) at the centre of our work.

  • The "old" Management Committee formally nominates 5 individuals for specific positions on the new Executive Board
     

  • The next meeting is scheduled for 30 July 2020 to formalise the new board
